MESSAGE FROM THE DEPARTMENT HEAD

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Sonargaon University (SU). Here at CSE we are pledged bound to create skilled and responsible computer engineers for the growing needs of computing in the society both at home and abroad.

The department is committed to disseminating up-to-date knowledge among its graduates through the latest course curriculum. To achieve this goal, we have prepared our CSE syllabus as per the course curriculums of reputed national public universities and foreign universities. I believe our course curriculum is congruent with the cutting-edge technologies of this modern era.

The CSE at SU has four notable strengths to enhance students’ knowledge. These are qualified & committed faculties, international standard course curriculum, state-of-art computer laboratory and a very rich library.

After successful completion of this four-year graduate course, a student shall be familiar with every sector of computer science and engineering discipline. This course curriculum emphasizes the integration of mathematical foundations with computing which is the basis of computer science and engineering. Noteworthy, SU provides the educational opportunities for interested undergraduate students in advancing the frontiers of science and engineering and in developing applications of technology for the benefit of our society.

A successful graduate from CSE, SU can choose his professional field as computer scientist, software engineer, computer programmer, network engineer and many more. The department of computer science and engineering believes that, as time goes on, technology shall evolve and the graduates will be able to adapt themselves to upcoming new technologies.
